BUILDING SCIENCE 2
PROJECT 1 : LIGHTING & ACOUSTIC PERFORMANCE EVALUATION AND DESIGN
In this project, we were required to form a group of 6 to observe, evaluate, analyse and report on lighting and acoustics performance of our selected case study building. For the case study, we are to choose a building that has lighting and acoustic features that can be studied. Then we have to produce a measured drawing with appropriate scale of the case study and include all the necessary features which effect on the lighting and acoustics conditions to the selected building. We also have to carry out appraisals on day-lighting, artificial lighting, noise and sound condition (quality and quantity) in the selected case study. My group consist of Kimberley Ee, Farah Akmal, Shery Edrina, and Ghaida Rashad.

REFLECTION
In this project, I've learnt to report and analyse the lighting and acoustic characteristics & requirement in a suggested space. I also have basic understanding of acoustic and lighting design layout and arrangements by using certain methods and calculations.
PROJECT 2 : INTEGRATION PROJECT
In this project, we were required to identify two (2) significant spaces in our Design Studio module for implementing the artificial and the daylighting strategies (PSALI). We also have to analyse and do a proposal regarding the lighting system based on our Design Studio subject and justify the proposed types of lighting chosen for the space.

REFLECTION
In this project, I am able to solve the design problems in relation to sustainability issues (natural lighting, site analysis) as well as to design spaces incorporating artificial and daylighting (when necessary).
