BUILDING SCIENCE 1
PROJECT : CASE STUDY 'BASIC BUILDING DESIGN STRATEGIES'
For this project, we were required to form a group with maximum of 6 members and were given a building to do research on the basic design strategies which are sunshading devices and passive ventilation of the building. The report should be placed in 2A3 Paper designed as Research Poster. All components must be presented in a wellorganized and logical manner with more visuals by using softwares such as Revit, Vasari or Ecotect. My group members for this project are Cindy, Farah Akmal, Wei Ling, Afiqah Zahra, Kimberly and myself. The building that was assigned for us is La Salle College of Arts in Singapore.

REFLECTION
First of all, I would like to thank Ms Suja for being an awesome tutor and guiding us through out this project. This project helped me to gain knowledge about the passive design startegies apply in tropical climate and the principle behind it as well as the aesthethic value provided by passive design. We're given the chance to identify environment condition in relate to the site context and climate that is very much useful in improving our site analysis skills. Hence, I'm also able to understand the design of the space in terms of radiant cooling by referring to MS1525 , UBBL, GBI and Green Mark standards. Lastly, to learnt how important thermal comfort is our human.
