BUILDING CONSTRUCTION 2
PROJECT 1 : SKELETAL CONSTRUCTION "A SHELTER FOR ONE"
In a group of 6, we were required build a shelter that can fit for one person in a sitting position. The shelter must also demonstrate the knowledge of skeletal frames and its joints and should be elevated at least 5 inches from the ground. My group members for this project are Adibah, Hafizi, Amir, Valentine, Azzam and myself.

REFLECTION
In this project, I've learnt how to apply construction system in a design. Next, I've also learnt to recognize the implication of construction systems in design and analyse the issues of strength, stiffness and stability of structures including modes of structural systems, forces, stress and strain and laws of static.
PROJECT 2 : UNDERSTANDING FORCES IN BUILDING CONSTRUCTION
This project is divided into 2 task, group and individual work. In a group of 2, we were required to propose a building of (tensile/membrane construction or grid shell construction) and identify the structural systems used in the construction of the building of our choice. We must also produce a model on an A3 base showing the different structural systems used in the above building and tto prepare ONE (1) A3 size presentation board, analysing the success or failure of the model together with the mitigating measures. My partner for this project is Prashob Nair and we've chosen Mannheim Multihalle gridshell for the building. Next, for the individual task, we were required to manually draw an exploded Axonometric construction detail on an A3 size sheet.

REFLECTION
In this project, I've learnt to identify the basic structural systems in construction and differentiate in terms of loads and forces acting on structural elements. Not only that, I've also learnt to recognize and apply the implications of construction system in my design.
